About

Anything you can dream, we can build

Comprised of innovative engineers and highly–precise steel fabricators, Dynamic specializes in designing and erecting large, complex structures and mechanical systems.

The company’s landmark projects are iconic, award–winning structures in Western Canada and the US’s Pacific Northwest. The projects are often for the industrial, institutional and commercial sectors.

This specialty work is done in the company’s two plants located in Wabamun, Alberta (formerly called Empire Iron Works) and Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.

Dynamic Structures was the secret name behind some of the most popular rides in amusement parks. That expertise grew into its own company, Dynamic Attractions, which has become the leader in sophisticated, immersive attractions for theme parks tourist destinations. Both companies are part of Empire Industries.

The company was founded in 1926 as Vancouver Art Metal, and later named Coast Steel Fabricators before becoming Dynamic Structures. The company became part of Empire Industries in 2007.

Dynamic Structures has approximately 200 employees.
